Text messaging & opt-in
BFImpact LLC sends operational text alerts to the owners and technicians of the service businesses that hire us — so an emergency reaching their answering service also reaches a human.
Last updated August 2, 2026 · BFImpact LLC, an Indiana limited liability company
Who receives messages
Only staff of a subscribing business — the owner and the technicians they employ. We do not text consumers, and we do not text the customers of our clients. There is no marketing, promotional, or bulk messaging of any kind.

How recipients opt in — the complete workflow
Consent is collected inside the private, password-protected administrative dashboard of the subscribing business. Because that screen sits behind a login and cannot be reached by the public, the exact consent experience is reproduced below as evidence.
- The business owner signs in to their administrative dashboard at their own website address and opens the Emergency escalation panel.
- The owner switches on “Text me every emergency.” This is off by default for every account.
- The owner types the mobile number that should receive alerts into the “Send alerts to” field. Owners enter their own number; a technician’s number is entered by that technician’s employer, who confirms the technician has agreed to receive alerts.
- Directly beneath the number, the owner must tick a consent box that is unchecked by default. The settings cannot be saved with alerts enabled unless it is ticked — the application returns the error “Tick the consent box to turn on text alerts.” The box reads:
“I agree to receive emergency and job alert text messages from BFImpact at the number above. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help. See the Privacy Policy and Terms.”
- On save, the application records the date and time consent was given and displays it back on the screen as an audit record.
There is no other opt-in path. There is no public web form, no purchased list, no imported contacts, and no third-party lead source. Every number in the system was typed in by the business that owns it, on the screen shown above.

Opting out
Reply STOP to any message and messaging to that number ends immediately; a confirmation is sent and nothing further is delivered unless the recipient replies START. Reply HELP for assistance, or email hello@bfimpactusa.com. An owner can also switch alerts off at any time from the same dashboard panel shown above.

Mobile information and opt-in consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and are never sold. See our Privacy Policy for the full statement and our Terms of Service for the terms governing the service.
